Improving Project Management

Improving projects – PRINCE2 in Aberdeen and the UK

The efficiency and effectiveness of project management has improved for many public and private sector organisations after introducing PRINCE2 – in Aberdeen, Glasgow, the rest of the UK and internationally.

The PRINCE2 project management system divides projects into eight processes, which are:

PRINCE2 in Aberdeen• Starting Up.
• Planning.
• Initiating a Project.
• Directing the Project.
• Controlling.
• Managing Project Delivery.
• Managing Stage Boundaries.
• Closing the Project.

This gives projects that use the PRINCE2 project management system the flexibility needed when things alter, while ensuring there is a clearly defined framework in place.

Organisations that have introduced PRINCE2 in Aberdeen, Fife and across the UK and internationally have been able to improve the management of resources, improve communication between people involved in a project and monitor the progress of the project more closely.

Using PRINCE2 for project management

PRINCE2 has become the de facto standard for project management across the UK. Since it was first introduced in 1996, it has expanded to around 50 countries worldwide. This is due to the ease of use and the fact it can be adapted for projects of any scale.

To ensure you have the skills and experience needed to introduce PRINCE2 to your workplace, we offer several courses. These are:

• Foundation Level PRINCE2 Project Management.
• PRINCE2 Practitioner Project Management.
• Reregistration for PRINCE2.

Aberdeen, Dunfermline, Newcastle, Sunderland and many other locations are used to host PRINCE2 training. Our highly experienced team can also design bespoke training courses, which can take place in your own offices.

The PRINCE2 method can help business projects run smoothly and more efficiently.
